Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) achieved its highest ever generation (Thermal and Hydel) of 5280 MW at 20:20 hrs February 16, 2018 surpassing its previous record of 5258 MW achieved on May 4, 2017. DVC generates power from 7(Seven) thermal power plants and 3(Three) Hydel power plants located in its command area in West Bengal & Jharkhand and the power is supplied to 8(Eight) states across India.
