DVC observes vigilance awareness week-2017

Vigilance Awareness Week-2017, was observed in all field formations including HQ in DVC from October 30 to  November 4, 2017. The week started with a specialized pledge administered by the highest authority of the respective project/ department all over the valley. At DVC HQ the pledge was administered by P K Mukhopadhyay, Member-Secretary, DVC. An Workshop on ‘Role of CVC & Red flags in public procurement’ was organized at DVC HQ. Kolkata, on October 31, 2017, where Sri Ramachandan Venkataramani, Ex-Central Technical Examiner (CTE) of CVC, conducted the workshop. In another Workshop held on November 3, 2017, on ‘Constitutional provision relating to Disciplinary Proceeding’, Surjit Singh, Ex-Director, CVC, was the Speaker. Outreach activities on competitions like painting, essay writing, speech, debate etc. on “My vision-Corruption free India” were also organized at different schools and colleges.
