EC Appoints 5 IAS as DEOs in Assam

ECI transferred five IAS officers as District Election Officers (DEOs), replacing Assam Civil Service (ACS) officers: Dr P Uday Praveen (2016-batch) to Kokrajhar; Srishti Singh (2021) to Majuli; Kimnei Changsan to Baksa; Madhusudan Nath to Chirang; Jay Vikash to Udalguri. Simultaneously, five IPS officers posted as Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs): Somalin Subhadarsini (2019-batch) to Majuli; Renukuntla Sheetal Kumar (2020) to South Salmara; Mohan Lal Meena (2016) to Chirang; others to Dhemaji and Sadiya. Outgoing APS officers moved to forensic, academy, and battalion roles.
