Eight HCs were without any woman judges as on Jan 1, 2018

The High Courts of Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, J&K, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Uttarakhand did not have any woman judges as on January 1, 2018. The appointment of Mrs Justice Anubha Rawat Choudhary was later announced through a notification on January 4, 2018 by Ministry of Law and Justice as Additional Judge of the Jharkhand High Court.
