Indian Navy’s premier multilateral maritime exercise ended with closing ceremony onboard INS Vikrant off Visakhapatnam. This involved 42 ships/submarines, 29 aircraft (including 18 foreign ships). Featured harbour-phase engagements, seminars, and sea-phase high-intensity drills (air defence, ASW, live firings, etc.). Theme: ‘Camaraderie, Cooperation, Collaboration’ under MAHASAGAR vision. Presided by Rear Admiral Alok Ananda (Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet). Outcomes: validated interoperability and rapid-response capabilities.
