Special Secretary to the President of India, E L S N Bala Prasad, though expected did not get extension in service has finally retired .Infact, Bala Prasad had been brought to the Rashtrapati Bhawan by the President himself from Bihar. It was expected that 1986 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre Bala Prasad will continue on co-terminus basis with the President but it did not happen and he retired on June 30.
