Finally Dr Somanathan moves to GoI in Finance Ministry

As indicated by us, TamilNadu cadre 1987 batch IAS officer Dr T V Somanathan  has finally landed in Finance Ministry as Secretary Expenditure. Infact, it was a foregone conclusion that he would join only Finance Ministry. Now it is said that Secretary Expenditure  is  very prestigious  post from where one goes as Governor like G C Murmu. If this theory is taken into account, Dr Somanathan will ultimately go as Governor of Reserve Bank of India or Governor of a State.
