Five candidates short-listed for Chairman, CERC; final decision on candidate deferred ?

Search-cum-Selection Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr Bibek Debroy has short-listed five candidates for the post of Chairman, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC). They are P K Pujari, a 1981 batch retired IAS officer of Gujarat cadre; Dr Aroop Roy Choudhary, ex-CMD, NTPC Ltd; M K Goel, Chairperson, JERC for Goa & UTs; Anil Kumar Bishnoi, a 1981 batch retired IAS officer of UP cadre and A B Bajpai, Member, MPERC. The Committee has not reached the final decision and process has been deferred for the time being.
