Five IAS officers assigned new responsibility in W Bengal

Five IAS officers have been assigned new responsibilities in W Bengal. Binod Kumar has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department, while Dr Krishna Gupta will join as Additional Chief Secretary, Co-operation Department and Mrs Smaraki Mahapatra joins as Secretary, Mass Education Extension and Library Services Department. Besides, Vivek Kumar was shifted as ACS, Land & Land Reforms and Refugee Relief & Rehabilitation with additional charge of ACS, Animal Resources Development and OSD, Biswa Bangla Corporation in the office of Resident Commissioner, New Delhi and Manoj Kumar Agarwal, ACS, Fire & Emergency Services, will hold an additional charge of ACS, Forest Department.
