As many as five IAS officers of 2006 batch from Assam-Meghalaya cadre have been empanelled as Joint Secretary and equivalent posts in Government of India. The officers are: Kavitha Padmanabhan , Om Prakash, Pravin Bakshi, Brahm Deo Ram Tiwari and Puru Gupta.
