Five IPS officers get new responsibilities in Telangana

Five IPS officers get new responsibilities in Telangana. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), CID, while Ravi Gupta is posted as Director General, Anti Corruption Bureau with additional charge of DG (V&E), GAD and Devendra Singh Chauhan is Commissioner, Rachakonda. Similarly, Sanjay Jain has been appointed as Additional DGP (L&O) and Dr Jitender takes over as PS, Home with additional charge of DG, prisons and Correctional Services.
