Five IPS officers shifted in West Bengal

As many as five persons have been given new places of postings in West Bengal. Accordingly, Supertim Sarkar has been appointed as ADG & IGP, Traffic & Road Safety, while Gaurav Sharma was made Bidhannagar Police Commissioner and Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi is Siliguri Police Commissioner. Besides, Ms Joyeeta Bose has been appointed as SP, Bongaon District and Tarun Halder was made DC, North Division, Kolkata.
