Five Joint Secretary level officers of Government of India have been appointed as Nodal Officers to monitor implementation of GST in West Bengal. The officers are: Rakesh Kumar Vats (IAS); Subrata Gupta (IAS), Vivek Bhardwaj (IAS) Ram Phal Pawar (IPS) and Upma Srivastava (IAS).
