Five lakh Bank pensioners waiting for revision

More than 5 lakh pensioners of various banks are not getting any revision since 1997. During the last five wage revision in - 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012 and 2017, IBA did not send any revision orders to the member banks. This has resulted in non payment of the benefit of wage revision to bank pensioners since 1997. They are still getting meagre pension originally fixed at the time of retirement 20 years back.
