For SBK Singh, Delhi is the third state as Head of the Police Force

The newly appointed Police Commissioner of Delhi SBK Singh is the batchmate of his predecessor Sanjay Arora. In 1986, Singh graduated with Physics honours from St Stephen’s College in Delhi. Later, he joined Indian Police Service (IPS). He started his career as an Assistant Commissioner of Police in Central District before moving to Arunachal Pradesh as a Superintendent of Police in 1992. Singh quickly moved up the ranks and was subsequently made the Director General of Police of Arunachal Pradesh in 2018, before moving on to become the DGP of Mizoram in 2019.
