Four IAS officers get new responsibilities in Assam

Virendra Mittal has been posted as Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Finance Department with additional charge of Irrigation Department and PD, ARIAS and Project Officer, Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project under PIU, ASDMA. Similarly, Mrs Laya Madduri, Secretary, Finance and Science, Technology and Climate Change Departments and Managing Director, Assam Financial Corporation is relieved from the additional charge of Secretary, Science, Technology and Climate Change and Ashwani Kumar is posted as Director, Directorate of Information Technology, Electronics & Communication (DITEC), Assam and Pallav Gopal Jha is substantively posted as Secretary, Science, Technology and Climate Change Department with additional charge of Project Director, Assam Urban Infrastructure Investment Program and Project Director, JICA Assisted Guwahati Water Supplies Project and Secretary, Social Justice & Empowerment Department as additional charge.
