Four IFS officers of 1996 batch have been empanelled for holding Joint Secretary and equivalent posts in Government of India. The officers are: Sanjay Kumar of UP; Surendra Prasad and Sakti Sankar Dey of West Bengal and D Sathiyan of Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
