Four IPS officers in Tamil Nadu promoted to DGP rank

Three IPS officers Tamil Nadu--Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, G Venkataraman and Vinit Dev Wankhede--have been promoted to the rank of DGP in Tamil Nadu. Besides, Sanjay Mathur, currently on deputation with GoI, has been given proforma promotion.
