Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) is slated to have only one member and the Chairman. One Member retired in March, second superannuated in May and the third is scheduled to retire on July 31 this year. Remaining fourth Member is scheduled to retire in August. And if the government fails to fill up the vacant seats, then from September only the Chairman will run the Board with additional charges of all four members.
