G S Rao is acting DGP of Tripura

Additional Director General of Police (Armed Police) GS Rao has been appointed as the in-charge Director General of Police (Head of Police Force) with immediate effect following the death of DGP Anurag Dhankar. He is a 1999 batch IPS officer.
