Gaurav Banerjee is now CEO Sony (India)

Gaurav Banerjee who hails from Madhya Pradesh has taken over as new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sony (India) on August 26. He is the son of 1971 batch MP cadre IAS officer Late Sudeep Banerjee and his mother Rubina Banerjee, a former Professor of English, lives in Jabalpur. Banerjee has replaced N P Singh and he had been holding the position for 25 years. Gaurav Banerjee earlier served as Head of Content for Hindi Entertainment at Disney+ Hotstar as well as was the Business Head for Star Bharat.
