A General Manager (GM), who had exposed a total corruption of Rs 800 crore in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), has been given premature retirement. At his complaint, as many as 29 officers including three Board Directors and four Executive Directors and other executives were suspended by the Ministry of Steel. The GM is now paying the price for his noble deeds in the interest of SAIL and the nation. The SAIL is reported to be afraid of the GM, who may expose more other officers riddled with corruption.
