GNFC reports PBT of Rs 105 cr for Quarter

Bharuch  based  leading  fertilizers   and chemicals  company,   Gujarat   Narmada  valley Fertilizers  & Chemicals  Ltd  (GNFC) has reported   PBT of  Rs. 105 crore  for  the  Quarter ended June,2017, which  is higher  by 106 % against  PBT of Rs. 51 crore  in the  corresponding previous Quarter ended  June  2016. Fertilizer volume is up by 27 % particularly Urea. Revenue from  Operations   during  the  Quarter  ended  June  2017 was  Rs. 1,055 crore, as compared to Rs.949 crore of corresponding previous Quarter ended  June  2016; which  is higher  by 11 %. Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GNFC) is a joint sector enterprise promoted by the Government of Gujarat and the Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GSFC). Set-up in Bharuch, Gujarat in 1976, the Company draws on the resources of the natural wealth of the land as well as the industrially rich reserves of the area.
