The Government of India is sweating in selecting a person to the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), a scheduled ‘B’ company. The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) has advertised the post for the second time after its search committee failed to find suitable candidate at selection meeting held July 12, 2019. The Ministry formed selection committee after Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) failed twice to find suitable candidate who could lead the legacy of Ravindra Nath after his retirement in September 2018. The Ministry sought applications for the post before September 12, 2019.
