GoI to appoint Additional Secretary level IAS officer as CMD, Coal India?

The Government of India is expected to appoint recently Additional Secretary level empanelled IAS officer to the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Coal India Limited (CIL) falling vacant on September 1, 2017.  Two IAS officers rendered their services to this post. Before this present incumbent, 1985 batch IAS officer Telangana cadre,  Sutirtha Bhattacharya, S Narsing Rao, a 1986 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, enjoyed this Additional Secretary level post of CMD.
