GoI to challenge CAT’s decision on 7th CPC’s recommendations ?

The Government of India is expected to appeal to the appellate court against the decision of Central Administration Tribunal (CAT), Principal Bench, New Delhi, on providing benefits of 7th Central Pay Commission's recommendations to the officers who retired on January 1, 2016 ? The officers born on January 1, 1956 are deprived of benefits as they were retired on December 31, 2015.
