GoI yet to decide appointment of Director AIIMS

The extended tenure of the AIIMS Director, Dr Randeep Guleria, is coming to end this week only. The Government is yet to decide his successor. The panel presently consists of Nikhil Tandon, Head of the Department of Endocrinology; Rajesh Malhotra, Chief of AIIMS Trauma Centre and the Head of the Department of Orthopaedics; and Pramod Garg, Professor in the Gastroenterology Department.
