GoI yet to take decision on appointment of CMD, HHEC Ltd

The post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Handicrafts & Handlooms Exports Corporation (HHEC) Limited has been lying vacant since December, 2016. The Ministry of Textiles is yet to initiate the process of filling the post. However Puneet Agarwal, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles, is holding an additional charge of CMD, HHEC. He is a 1998 batch IAS officer of Tripura cadre.
