Government to appoint Information Commissioners in CIC

After a long gap, the Government of India is believed to have decided to have a couple of Members in the Central Information Commission (CIC). Infact, the CIC is acutely short of Information Commissioners. Against the sanctioned strength of 10 Information Commissioners, it has only six. And by the end of this year, three more posts of ICs and one post of Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) may fall vacant.
