Govt increases allowances for pensioners under 7th CPC
The government has revised pensioner allowances under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). Fixed Medical Allowance has been doubled from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 per month. Besides, the Constant Attendance Allowance for 100% disabled pensioners has been raised from Rs 4,500 to Rs 6,750 per month.
