The Banks Board Bureau may have advertised by now for the post as it has already recommended MD & CEO for Indian Overseas Bank and Central Bank of India. The current process of amalgamation in Union Bank of India with Corporation Bank and Andhra Bank, banking sources say, may be prompting the Finance Ministry to prolong stay of Dr Raj Kiran Rai after his tenure ends on June 30, 2020.
