Govt not waiting for BBB recommendations?

The Central Government seems to be in a hurry to fill up vacancies of MDs & CEOs in public sector banks as it appointed S.S. Mallikarjuna Rao as MD & CEO of Punjab National Bank even before the Banks Board Bureau could go public with a recommendation.
