Govt promotes nine IRS officers as Chief Commissioner/DG of Customs and Indirect Taxes UPDATED

The government on Monday promoted nine IRS officers of the Customs and Indirect Taxes to the rank of Chief Commissioner/ Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes with effect from the date they assume the charge.

Those officers promoted include- Satyajit Singh (C & IT, 1993 Batch), Ved Prakash Shukla (IRS- C & IT, 1993) N. Sridhar (IRS-C & IT, 1993), Jaideep P. (IRS C & IT, 1993), Gurusharan Singh (IRS- C & IT, 1993), Vidhyadhar Namdeorao Thete (IRS-C & IT, 1993).

Kiran Verma (IRS C & IT, 1993), Arvinder Singh Ranga (IRS C & IT 1993), K. S. Ravichandran (IRS C & IT, 1992).
