Guidelines issued for customs clearance of guests of various agencies

The office of Pr. Commissioner of Customs, CSM International Airport, Mumbai, has issued guidelines regarding the facilitation for customs clearance of the guests of various agencies. As per the guidelines, no officer will entertain any request for facilitation of clearance of international passengers directly from any outside office/agency. All such requests will be marked to the Supdt. Admin (Coordination) who will obtain the approval from the Commissioner/ Additional Commissioner (Admin.). Scanning of baggage will be done as per the prevailing practice.
