Haryana Government initiates the process of new DGP selection

The Haryana Government has initiated the process to pick up the new Director General of Police (DGP) as the present DGP is superannuating in August. The Government has sent a list of nine IPS officers to Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). UPSC will hold a meeting and shortlist three names and the state Government will tick one from this panel as the next head of the state police force.
