It is almost certain that this time no IAS officer will be appointed Chairman of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission. The post has fallen vacant following the resignation of D S Dhesi who has been appointed Chief Principal Secretary to CM. Dhesi who retired as Haryana’s Chief Secretary in June 2019, was appointed as Chairman, HERC in August 2019.
