Amid the COVID pandemic a high level drama took place in Pudhuchery UT on July 20. All started when the Lt Governor Dr Kiran Bedi has refused to address the house saying Chief Minister V Narayanasamy did not send her the annual financial statement and demand for grants meant to be presented in the House today. In her letter to CM she alleged that he has not sent her the documents as required under the provisions of the Government of Union Territories Act 1963. Dr Bedi said that the budget is not approved as is mandated and therefore no point to address the House in such circumstances. The LG has also informed Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the development. She said that the Chief Minister's Office has refused to accept her letter.
