High Power Committee to decide on new CBI Chief on May 24

A three-member High Power Committee will be deciding on the selection of new Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The committee chaired by Prime Minister with two other Members: N V Ramana, Chief Justice of India and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Opposition Leader in Lok Sabha will meet on May 24, 2021 to decide on the selection of the new CBI Chief.
