HIL CMD Mohanty lays foundation stone of new seed plant

Foundation stone of new seed plant at Bathinda Unit of Hindustan Insecticides Limited has been laid by Dr S P Mohanty, CMD, HIL. This is Company’s first Seed Processing Plant in India. The Company has come up with the entire need of farmers viz-a-viz Seed, Pesticides and Fertilizers.  At this occasion, many Senior Officers from Agriculture Department, Krishi Vikas Kendra were present. Among those, Dr J S Brar, Director, K V K and Dr G S Sidhu, Chief Agriculture Officer, along with A K Singh, Advisor-Seed, Sh. Anil Yadav, DGM (Marketing), P D Sankpal, Unit Head and Sunil Arora, CGM, NFL were also present. A Farmers Meet has also been organized in HIL’s Bathinda Unit.  Farmers from the villages and surrounding area of Bathinda District participated in the function.  Dr J S Brar, Director, K V K and Dr G S Sidhu, Chief Agriculture Officer in their speech educated the farmers regarding the crops and agriculture conditions. Anil Yadav of HIL made the farmers aware about the proper usage of Pesticides and Insecticides in order to keep their crops safe from insects, fungus etc.  Dr Mohanty, CMD, HIL distributed the Safety Kits & Seed Kits to the farmers and assured to provide good quality seeds to the farmers at economical prices.
