HIL (India) UNIDO tie up for setting up Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets production facility

HIL (India) Ltd., a CPSE under administrative control of Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers has signed a contract with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for setting up of Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLIN) production facility at its Rasayani Unit (Maharashtra). The LLIN is used as an important and safe tool for vector borne diseases like malaria control programme of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and at present there is a huge demand of around 62 million LLINs across the Country.
