HIL Ltd establishes Seed Testing Laboratory

HIL India Limited is already supplying quality inputs like Seeds, Agro Chemicals and Fertilizers to the farmers on very competitive rates for increasing the crops productivity at farmer’s field. In order to ensure the quality of seeds HIL India Limited established a Seed Testing Laboratory with the financial support of Ministry of Agri. & FW at its R&D Center, Gurugram.  The Seed Testing Laboratory was inaugurated on 08th April’2018 by Dr S K Pattanayak, IAS, Secretary Agri, Ministry of Agri. & F W, GOI. At the occasion, CMD-HIL, S P Mohanty and Director Finance Sh. A. Benerjee along with other officers were also present.  In addition to officials of HIL India, IPFT large number of farmers were also present in the event.  After the inauguration of the seed testing laboratory, a farmers training was also organized on Integrated Pest Manager Practices and Safe & Judicious use of Pesticides to educate the farmers about application of right type of chemicals in right doses at appropriate times.
