History scripted for J&K: 27 JKPS officers awarded IPS in one go
For the first time in the history of Jammu & Kashmir, 27 Jammu & Kashmir Police Services (JKPS) officers were inducted into Indian Police Services (IPS) in one go by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Furthermore, five of them will be eligible for promotion as DIGs on January 1, 2024.
