HP Govt working hard to reduce IFoS officers

The Himachal Pradesh Government is working on a strategy to reduce the number of Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officials in the state. The Personnel Department has been told to identify excess (unnecessary) posts of IFoS officers in the state that could be abolished. The state is facing a severe financial crisis. At a later stage, the Government is also planning to reduce the number of IAS and IPS officials working in the state.
