HUDCO loans to Haryana Govt for IIHM project

HUDCO has approved loan of Rs 1850 crores for the flagship project of Haryana Govt. namely India International Horticulture Market (IIHM) at Ganaur Sonipat, one of its kind in the country and will provide a mega scale aggregation of agricultural produce. The proposed market is of international standard, handling fruits, vegetables etc., shall improve market access for farmers by connecting them to national and international value chains and provide market services to the farmers of nearby States like Punjab, Delhi, Western UP, J&K and Himachal Pradesh. Govt. of Haryana is supporting this landmark project with Equity of Rs. 800 crore and grant of Rs. 430 crore.
