IAS officer suspended since 2016

 An IAS officer of UP cadre is under suspension for the last four years. Rajiv Kumar-II was suspended on April 18, 2016 on alleged corruption charges when he was posted as Dy CEO, NOIDA in 1994-95. The 1983 batch senior most IAS officer is scheduled to retire in June 2021. According to sources, this is the longest period of suspension of an IAS officer and if not reinstated, he will retire under suspension.
