There are indications that an IAS officer is unlikely to head the Prasar Bharti. Indication is clear IAS officer was not given charge of Prasar Bharti. Mayank Agrawal, an IIS officer, was given the additional charge after the exit of Shekhar Vemparhi as CEO on June 6.
