IAS officers as CMDs in big PSUs required?

Technocrats are of the view that the Government should appoint all India Administrative Service Officers to the top posts in Maharatna  PSUs as they can establish synergy between organisations and government helping acceleration in the rate of growth. If any technocrat is made head of any big PSU, lives, all the time, under the pressure of Joint Secretary level officer in Government of India, technocrats opined.
