If Sobti remains in IndusInd Board after age of 70, so will HDFC Bank's Aditya Puri

In case Ramesh Sobti is allowed to continue as MD & CEO of IndusInd Bank beyond age of 70 after March 2020, there could be contenders such as Aditya Puri, MD & CEO of HDFC Bank whose tenure is ending in October 2020 who may also have to be allowed to continue in the Board beyond 70 years of age. The Reserve Bank of India has approved re-appointment of  Aditya Puri as MD & CEO of HDFC Bank w.e.f. November 1, 2018 to October 26, 2020 (i.e. till the date of his attaining age of 70 years). Shareholders had already approved his appointment in 2015 for a period of 5 years.
