If UPSC follow SC guidelines, then two will be out of race

 Siddharth Chattopadhyay and Rohit Chaudhary, two, IPS officers of Punjab cadre are scheduled to retire in March next year. According to sources ,SC guidelines clearly said that for the selection of a DGP, only those officers with at least six months of service left will be considered for the job. If UPSC follows these guidelines,  then these two IPS officers may not be considered for the top job.
