IFoS’ role around climate-ecological security

Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan during his recent address at the IGNFA, has explicitly linked the Indian Forest Service to India's net-zero 2070 objective, biodiversity management and ecological security. This is an important signal of the changing policy conception of IFoS—from conventional forest administration toward climate, biodiversity, landscape and livelihood management.
